After the DVD player has been on for a while, movies will freeze and then skip to different parts of the movie, sometimes to the beginning. It only seems to do this if the player has been on for a while.

Any suggestions?

well you can get to the hidden menu by pressing title then clear then power all while in standby mode
then go to automaticdisc calibration and follow directions
basically this dvd player sucks anyway if you calibrate it for A dual layer disc it wont play a single layer or it wont play backups movies or ripped music so it sucks buy a new one not this model
