possibly shower may have blocked filter if applicable to h/w side or thermostatic control may of had it or stuck.
a strip down and investigation required if hot water is ok everywhere bar the shower. you generally can get replacement parts for overhaul but be warned some are very expensive.
sometimes a replacement shower with same size cold and hot connections and same centres is a better option.
