How do I charge my electric tooth brush?

I have a bathroom light above my bathroom mirror the light has two integrated - two pin electric sockets 110v & 240v.
I plug my electric tooth brush into the appropriate socket and the tooth - brush charges!
But this is the problem, the light has to be switched on, before there is any power at the sockets - so how do I get power to the sockets so that I can charge my toothbrush without having to have the light switched on? Has the electrician wired up the light fitting wrongly?

A Visa or Mastercard is usually accepted at most stores, just give them the card.

Seriously, some of the cheaper ones aren't meant to be recharged, or they come with batteries. the better ones come with a stand that plugs into an outlet. Merely sitting the toothbrush in the stand automatically recharges it. you don't usually have any wiring or metal contacts to deal with.

Get a two pin adaptor and leave it plugged into a socket it the kitchen or elsewhere. It should last for days on a single charge.
