i bought my Sumvision mp3 player about a year ago and its worked fine untill recently i haddnt used it for a few weeks and when i switch it on it says No Music, and it wont let me upload any tunes. and when i try i get a message on my pc telling me its not detecting Storage Media in my mp3..i cant take it back as i got it from high school and ive lost the box, what do i do!?
please help!

I had similar problem at first, but i cured it somehow. I think try doing some voice records, which go to the voice folder. Also try loading some mp3 rather than wav. The wav files only show if you put them in the voice folder i think. Take care not to unplug without first doing the windows unplug dialog. Better quality battery may also help - try a hybrio charged with technoline BL700. Modern electronics aren't really meant for old alkaline types.

Hiya, same problem with my brand new 1gig Sumvision MP3 player. NO MUSIC after playing a few songs, tried to format it using the menu on it, then formatted it using the PC still no luck. Manual was in very poor english - it mentioned using the Low Level format on the CD that came with it. Tried that and no luck as the low level utility does not even recognise the MP3 player let alone format it. Finally in desperation tried to visit the manufacturer's website at: www.sumvision.com.cn and it is not even up and running!
So it looks like this item is faulty and I will now have to post it back, go through the usual hassles of returns and wait a few weeks for a refund.

Hi Lauren did you ever get an answer to your question about the problem with your Sumvision mp3 player? i am having the same problem with mine, its 256MB and brand new as well but exactly the same problem
