Hi, when I turn on the tv from standby the tv does not come on, there is a flashing of colours in the centre of the screen along with a fast ticking sound,then it turns off and power light flashes red.
Can anyone please help.

hi,i too have the same prob on the same tv, any advice on getting an engeneer or do a trip to the tip?

Mine is currently in the repair shop with exactly the same problem. They have consulted the 'tv repair grapevine' but no-one seems to know how to fix it yet. They have ordered a diagnostic cable from Phillips so that they can interogate the set, but it won't be here until next week. At the moment it looks like the tv's brain has stopped and it may be uneconomical to repair. If you have any joy with yours then please let me know.
