i can not get itv channel 4 or5 also i i only have soft ware of 2.93 when top up says it should be 2.99

I had to fit a new aerial. You need a good aerial that is designed for DIGITAL reception otherwise you are wasting your time.
I bought the aerial from Argos for £34.99, fitted it in the loft (just hung it on strings!) and pointed it in roughly the right direction. Now I've got 90 channels plus a load of TopUp TV stuff. Wonderful!

We only bought this today and had to rescan twice to get all the freeview channels - you may find Film4 and other channels are actually there but in the 700 or 800's channel numbers and not in the first 30 channels as you would expect.
Our only problem is programming our remote to work with our ONN tv as ONN does not appear in the list of brands they provide codes for. Any ideas anyone ?
