How do I fix a small hole (20mm x 10mm) in an external PVC door?

My external PVC door has a small hole in it on the outside and I would rather fix the hole than buy a full new door. What do I need to fix this and how do i do it?

buy a small tube of car body repair filler, read the instructions!!! over apply...let it dry and then sand down with a light wet and dry paper....leave to dry for an hour or 2 and then clean the whole panel and then spray with Plasticoate spray paint, do the who;e panel...leave to dry for a day and your fix will be perfect!!! cost all in all about 12 pounds.

When you replace the panel you have to know what shade of white you have (there are loads) assuming its white!! and it will usually cost quite a lot of money, £270 is usual for the repair man to visit.
First try some "Pollyfilla" in the hole. Put loads on then the following day chisel most of the excess off then sand it carefully. You won't hardly be able to see it and this might do for you.
One thing be careful cleaning the door in that area as the powder will mark if you smear it with dirt...only use water.
But if you do then re polly it again.
It worked for me.....Good luck!

Unless you've done it already if it's the bottom white panel then prise the plastic retaining strips off the inside of the door and remove the panel. Measure it and temp replace it then go to your nearest Upvc window/door shop and get a replacement panel. You may have to order one. Replace and tap the strips back with a wood mallet or rubber hammer like campers use for tent pegs.
