I recently bought a second-hand Panasonic VHS player. It worked well during my test. But after a few days, when I turned it on, it could no longer product clear picture though the audio sound was there. I can only see a screen with black-white moving shadows. What is the reason and how to fix it?

you need to clean the vidio heads with a clean cloth and white spirit, ensure it is unpluged first, a clean hankerchief will do, use your finger with the hankerchief, dab a little white spirit onto the hanky and lightly rub around the head surface, leave to evaporate, and give it a try, it should do the trick.
