what does f3 mean and how cann I fix it. built in diplomat dishwasher all controls in front edge of door locked up

Hi Bryn, if it is the model with green neons,then F3 is not heating.The faults are:Heating element faulty,relays on pcb faulty or NTC fluctuation.I would think the in line heater element is open circuit.Turn off the power and you can check continuity with a meter if o/c then a new heater is required.The part no:
481225928684 and they are £70 plus vat and postage.
