My diplomat dishwasher is not starting. There is one flashing red light on continously and the programme button does not allow me to use another cycle. When the door is shut it does not work

Hi Alex, when you press the P button does it bleep twice or dead.If it bleeps .look at the latch mechanism in the panel.Is it facing towards you.If not,flick it out with a small straight screwdriver and it will now programme.You may be able to repair the catch in the panel or buy a new panel, about £30. If the P button does nothing,there is a possibility that the panel has locked out.If there is no water in the lower base panel by the motor,you may need a new pcb, about £130.
