My hotpoint aquarius 1100 WD61 will not empty of water? I have been unable to find the filter to see if there is a blockage. There is also a funny noise now coming from the machine which sounds like either sand in the drum but also sounds like electrics crackling?

un plug your macine pull it out so you can see the back of it
the machine is heavy so be careful tilt the machine forward
have someone with you to hold it you will see the pipe coming down from the drum to a pump
the filter should be hear take out filter and clean also take off pump with just to clips open and make sure its not jammed this shoulde be easy if it is jammed up buy a new pump these are 35 euro in ireland roughly
