my sony pc vaio had a windows 95,i did erase it,but now i am trying to install windows 98,but does not accept it!. ! please help me in this one, i did try a few times but, no luck.
Go on another PC that is working , bust out a floppy drive ^_^. here's the fun part... look online for " Windows 98 startup disk " . Put that in ... should boot into dos... remember what the default drive letter of your cd drive is and type in that ... then it'll say your CD drive letter
here's an example... if my drive letter was D: .... then type in D:
it'll change to D:\
now do this... make sure your windows 98 cd is in the drive you just switched to in DOS..... it'll show the drive letter first ... such as E:\ .... type in setup.exe and away you go.
