I cannot open my internet exployer.The message says this file do not have a program associated with it to perform this action.Create an association in the folder file I can't even download anything. What do I need to do? I was thinking I needed to put back in my disk and install again. Any suggestions?

you need to go to the start button and click on it when the the start file opens you should see an icon that says internet explorer just click on it and place an icon on your desk top then click on the icon and it should open the internet explorer program. if that doesn't work then go to the start button and click on it and go to where it says documents and settings/ in this file you should see where it says set defaults. click on internet exploere as your default browzer that should fix your problem. hope this helps you:

Hi Sharon,it sounds like you have some sort of windows registry corruption. Do you have a window disk ( CD) is it XP please advise
