i have to keep reinstalling windows xp ?

Over the past few weeks I have had to reinstall windows xp several times because the system keeps crashing. I get a variety of errors messages from Disk Boot error to it just freezing Help

I have that same stupid problem. Only with windows 7 it's weird, really.

thanks micky g. The only problem with your solution is that the installation disk i have does not give me the option to repair. it just goes straight into reinstalling the entire xp even if i press r.

ok you don't have to reinstall windows XP every time your computer freezes up. just reinstall the windows program once again, and when the screen comes up that asks if you want to reinstall wondows XP or fix it just click on fix it and the program will reinstall the components that have a problem and when the program is finished installing you have to register it with microsoft on the internet if you don't do it correctly you will continue to have this problem. do what I said and your problem will go away. Note: make sure your connected to the internet when you install the windows XP program.
