My uPVC front door is not aligned properly so that when it is just about closing, it knocks on one of the metal strips on the side...but it does close and lock singly. But it does not double lock.....with the door open I lift the handle up as much as I can but can see that the roller lock and others do not go all the way down....if i force them down with a screwdriver, they do go all the way down....so with the door closed I lift the handle up as far as I can go and turn the key to double lock it....they key moves slightly but then does not turn any further..........any help pls?!!!! Its a FUHR locking system. I have removed and oiled everything already too! Thanks

your lockstrip has failed,if it dosnt function properly when door is open,when theres nothing obstructing the rollers moving freely,then you will need a new lockstrip,at a guess your door has been playing up for a time before it stoped working and you have put the lock box on your lockstrip under to much stress and it has broke in the end,you will need to write down the code on your lockstrip if it has one and order a new one and replace it,just type multipoint lock in your search engine and plenty of sites will be there to choose from,then choose mila and your lockstrip and order.hope this helps
