my computer, a hp pavilion dv9000 on vista wont allow itself to be seen on the screen. I installed PC tools and soon after it stopped working. I have tried to start it up many times and it made 2 bleeps then 1 bleep but now it does nothing when I turn it on. I am hoping someone can help as the computer cost me £1100 and I have had it for around 13 months

You need to remove the battery and remove the power adapter then...
1. Hold the power button down for 30 to 60 seconds.
2. Release the power button.
Plug the power supply back into the laptop.
Then power up as normal.
