from your heading I'd have to say I dont know a damed thing about steam cleaners.That said,anything I'd be likely to say would probably hinder rather than help you,so I would'nt usualy respond.Furthermore it's been my experiance that many household electrical goods are simply beyond repair due to the price of spares,if they are even availiable.Sorry I could'nt be more/any help.
