How do I fix an F4 fault Diplomat ADP8322?

The dishwasher runs through about half a cycle and then stops. The rinse LED comes on and machine bleeps. LED flashes 4 times pauses and flashes again.

There is a blockage in the waste pipe. Undo the pipe where it joins the waste system under the sink to clear the blockage.

Hold down the start button for two seconds and then start the programme again - doesn't fix the problem but gets the machine washing again.
