how to fix mysea doo exsporer jet boat from 1996?

my sea doo jet boat reeves and and starts fine on trailer but when i get it on the water it idles fine but as soon as i give more reeves it cuts out

Never heard of a exsprorer model. But in mine (seadoo explorer) , I removed the restrictor. Don't give up any more reeves until you can isolate the issue. I stay away from coral reefs my friend, they spell TROUBLE. Mend it!
