FREEZER IS WORKING, FRIDGE IS NOT. THE POWER IS GETTING TO THE FRIDGE, BUT THE FRIDGE IS NOT COOLING. I HAVE TURN THE THERMOSTAT TO ITS MAX BUT THE FRIDGE IS STILL NOT COOLING...STILL WARM. I HAVE A PHILIPS WHIRLPOOL FROST FREE FRIDGE/FREEZER.

We had the same problem but with a sharp tap on the side of the cabinet - the fridge started working again. However, it has happened several times - but usually in hot weather so we moved the fridge-freezer further away from the wall to ensure a good circulation of air, and left a small window open in the kitchen.
This worked for 5 years, but sadly, it has now failed completely. This is the best fridge-freezer we have ever had. Excellent design. We shall miss it. Spares available if anyone needs them.

I have exactley the same problem with my whirlpool

It worked fine for 12 years but now needs defrosting every two months or so.
Anything else I can do?

Probably the freezer is icing up and preventing the cold air from travelling up the popes into the fridge. My whirlpool does this. Defrosting the freezer for 24 hours cures the problem, but only for a few months. They are basically a poor design
