i turned the mains to repair the cistern iam not getting any hot water from?

i turned the mains water to repair the cistern and changed theball cock now the hotwater is not coming from the taps

Did someone draw a lot of water off the header tank whilst you were repairing the cistern?
Check out the header tank-if its full of water you have got an air lock.
Try priming it by sucking the end of an open hot tap.Be prepared for a rush of (hot) water.
