I have a Charmglow stove model# 451034 and when I turned it on yesterday it would not work. The stove was not moved, touched etc. The only thing I changed is the battery.

Thanks for the tip - it worked. Part of the remote sensor looked like it had melted. Seems kind of hazardous.

C heck your Remote Sensor that the plug is in. Try removing the plug and inserting it directly into the wall socket.
Our Charmglow Air Heater did the same thing and we found that the Remote Sensor plugged into the wall socket was bad.
The heater works fine with the plug directly inserted into the wall socket. The remote control will not operate it, but the controls on the back of the heater will turn it off and on just fine.
