My dish washer is showing E6 on the display and not working? Any Answers please!!!!!

Hi, I have the same error message showing on mine, it bleeps and if I go to the machine and open the door there is a bit of water standing in the bottom, but if I change the display back to the programme it carries on quite happily to the end of the cycle.

What should I do to fix this? Is it a job for an engineer?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Dave, E6 is a not draining fault.It could be that the drain pump is blocked,that is at the front behind the inspection plate or possibly that there is water in the base from a leaking air break seal on the right hand side.Hope this helps, need further info just ask. All the best.
