The power in my place blipped out momentarily and now I can't set my ewv tape speed to very slow-- it just stays on standard speed. I can program to tape on the slowest speed, but not record on on it by pressing the record button during a show in progress. Any suggestions?

I found my own answer-- I have been using a remote from an earlier Emerson and it did not have a tape speed button on it. I found the remote that came with the EWV403 I'm presently using, and sure enough, the tape speed button is there. All is well.
