If there is no beeps & no lights come up it will not be caused by the O.O.balance switch. Remove the display board from where it plugs into the control module. Put your voltmeter onto DC volts and place the two probes onto the two outer pins of the display board socket on the motor control unit. There should be approx. 15V DC coming out of the control unit to power the display. If not then the control unit is stuffed & will have to be replaced. You will then need to establish a cause for the failure before you connect up a new unit. Possible cause could be the lid switch.
