can I replace a broken bead/cord on a roller blind?

I have a roller blind the beaded cord has broken and is now in two halves, can it be replaced?

You need to get a connector - this is a small piece of metal that you put one bead in from each side of the cord. Be careful where you put the connector as it may inhibit the blind turning. You might need to take the beaded cord out of the mechanism completely first and reposition it. Try a local blind supplier/shop or fitter as they often have these connectors in stock and they only cost a few pence.
