My PC has developed an annoying problem !
Hypelinks on webpages and url links fail to load when clicked upon , similarly links winthin email does the same nor opening in a new window , yet if right clicked on the link to copy the shortcut into the browser bar they can open .
My security is set to normal and I've even turned off my Firewall to no effect .

I had something like this.
To sort it out I had to associate HTML pages with the browser (what ever you are using).
I think mine got confused when I installed Safari (PC) and then Google Chrome.
But once I set Google Chrome to be my main browser and a associated all HTML files with it, there have been no problem.
Try it, it can't hurt ;-)
