hotpoint aquarius 1000 wm62 shut down during cycle?

hi

does anyone have any ideas of common faults on this hotpoint model?. i switched it on this morning, it filled with water then just shut down and has no power at all. iv checked all the fuses etc

a few minutes after starting the heater should start to heat the water if the heater is gone (O/C)the programme will stop. but if the heater has a short(S/C) due to the water/heater running to Earth the fuse will blow. machine will be dead .
