Hi, enter cmos, usually press the DEL key or sometimes F1 or F2 to enter cmos. Then set youtr computers boot order to 1st boot device = cdrom 2nd boot device = hdd, click ESC to exit & save settings. Then put the xp pro cd in the cd drive, restart your pc, then at the black screen the prompt will say "boot from cd press enter" then having done that it will then say "boot from cd press any key" do that to and then the process is self explanatory during setup and follow and answer the on-screen prompts etc.
