How can I dismantle my Canon iP4500?

I need to remove the cover from my Canon iP4500 printer in order to extract a drawing pin from its innards (warning: keep all covers closed when machine not in use!). There are only a couple of 'arrow-head' markers for access and no screw fixings I can see that would help, so it looks as if it has been click assembled. Not an easy one! Any ideas, or similar experience?

Correct printers are not built to be taken apart hence no screws. I have found in the past that if you take all the bits off your printer and hold it upside down and shake it about (dont go mental) the foreign objects ususally fall out. If not its a take to bits job. Usually by inserting small pins into the holes in the base where the catches are to release the cover.
