How can I fix my GE stackable washing machine?

I have a stackable toploading GE washing machine and there is still a lot of water left in the clothes after the spin cycle. Is there anything I can do to fix this.

If you still have it and are still having problems. Check your belt. It gets streched and a loose belt will slip and not spin the tub fast enough to get all the water out. Especially with heavier loads such as pants or towels. I have had this myself. The belt is horrible to get on, we swore the new belt wasn't even the same belt because it was so much smaller. but after about 2 hours we finally got it streched on. It was the right belt and it worked like new again.
