flat ribbon?

I have repair my Advent 7083 and would like to know if thier is a tool or a smiple way of refitting the them, as I cannot get them to go fully home.

If they dont fit properly you have probably bent the pins. Look at the connector and see if any of the pins are bent. If they are you have just learnt an expensive lesson.
