We have a Sony Trinitron color tv Model # KV27FS13. We have always had it hooked up to stereo speakers, but now trying it without it does not have sound coming through the tv. Is this fixable?

Just fixed this TV with same problem . There a small board in the set with the letter K on it . This is your problem . Your other problem it is hard to find as i did not find one but had a tv with this board in it and was able to fix for the customer who did not mind if we installed a used part to fix his tv cheap . The board # is 1-678-026-13 and is called the audio processor. You might want to call around to some local tv repair shops and see if they might have one laying around or in a tv that was not worth repairing. Also i removed this board from a set that was not the same model # as the set i installed it in . They use this board in other sets with the FS in the model number . Good luck
