My daughter has a Canon s30 powershot camera. it works fine but the lcd display has got broken in her bag. Canon have a minimum charge of £150.00 to repair, was hoping to find a cheaper option.

My one year old dropped my Canon S30 and broke the LCD. I found this web site... lots of detail on repair. Hope it helps you. Replacement LCD (part number WG2-5219-000) from Canon parts (732-521-7230) was about US$50. Or you could buy a broken S30/S40 on ebay for the parts.
