I dont know whats been pressed but my freeview box has locked itself and is asking for a 4 digit code-i've tried everything but nothing seems to work. When i enter 0000 the screen goes black and grey (as opposed to it saying 'wrong key code') but thats about it-no channels, nothing. Can anyone help please? ............

As you have not said what the box is you can't really expect an answer.

This may sound like a silly question but have you looked in the User Manual that came with it?
