potterton combi 80 boiler no heating?

i have a potterton combi 80 boiler i have hot water ( no taps dripping ) but no central-heating but the pump sounds like it is running when the hot tap is urned on ( PCB Modulation board has been replaced recently )

i dont have an answer, just a suggestion to try
Diydoctor.org.uk, navigate to the heating section and expect a reply from the infamous htg engineer
