The TV convergence is going off on red only, the set has had a new Red gun installed last year but this was present before and after it was replaced by Riteway repair center. Have not taken back because it is too big?

We have a Hitachi Ultravision, that turns itself on. Found it a bit freaky, but am somewhat relieved to learn that others have the same problem. However, after it does this, the color is all weird. I have found that by simply pushing the antennae button, on the remote, the problem resolves itself. You might want to see if that helps you with your problem.
