i have an alpha 240e boiler which will not stay lit?

I have not had the heating on for a while and when i have attempted to put on the central heating, the pilot light lights for approximately 30 seconds and then goes out. If i then run a hot tap, it lights again for 30 seconds and then goes out. Any idea's?

ive had the same problem last year and ive had to replace the gas valve, but i would get the wireing checked first to the circit board, as the valves are a few quid and non-refundeble.
