LEAK CONSERVATORY ROOF?

HOW CAN TOU FIX A LEAK AT THE APEX OF A CONSERVATORY ROOF ABUTTING THE THE WALL
SCOUSE, October 2008
the perfect job would have been a stepped lead flashing cut into the brickwork then dressed over the apex, but if its of a upvc nature then there would still be movement between the two and water will get in. sounds like a flashband job and silicone. you could run some plastic trims down the pitch of the roof and make sure its sealed tight to the wall with silicone. its one of those jobs that you have to try several things and check it out after it rains, good luck. alan ghyllsidebuilders@hotmail.com

It should have a lead flashing at the point it joins the house wall, check to see if its still intact.
