repair of ravenheat 820/20 fan assisted combi-boiler?

central heating is working but no dhw.lot of banging and popping recently before failure.replaced diverter valve about 6 years ago because heat was transferring into rad.

Cheers Kenny.I know its not legal but am an old plumber who was gas fitting before corgi was a pup.Would never work on anyone elses for above reasons. But this being my own. I appreciate your advice.No hot water at all as pilot not igniting on water flow but working fine on CH

Firstly it is illegal for you to work on a gas appliance without a Corgi Cert so call in a Corgi.
Sounds like a blocked heat exchanger, I assume that this is on the hot water to the tap you get the banging and if so its probably scale. I am pretty sure the water aint getting through fast enough and is boiling off locally. Need to get a man who can mate sorry
