the battery is good just got it yesterday loaded 102 songs and picked my favorites let my woman look at it now it is just froze with the pearl logo, the only thing I can do is take the battery out. when it is put back in push power and up comes the logo but that is all. PLEASE HELP. It is a RCA Pearl TH1602-A, less than 2 days old

I basically had to format it and install original firmware.

I downloaded the file and ran it. It will format the player, so store you may want to store the songs somehow.

This went to the 1st version of firmware. After removing it from the computer and reconnecting it, it asked me to upgrade to the latest firmware.
