we 've just had the same problem our worcester engineer fixed our problem in 20 minutes by replacing diverter valve it pays to have the contract.

We had a similar problem and it was down to a faulty valve, which is common in this model. The valve sticks and you either have water and no heating or heating and no water. Our problem was solved after a new valve was fitted. Hope this helps.

hi I changed my diverter valve on my worcester 15/19 but had a bit of a flood i sorted it but now it wont fire up can you HELP please . Nick

i am a heating engineer, and own a heatslave 15/19

this fault it usually the diverter valve sticking (its a common problem as mine goes every 2 years) the motorised head will be fine, you can pick the valve up for about £40 from merchants/web and its easy to change with a few screwdrivers and adjustable spanners (remember to drain the water out of the system first though else you will be getting wet!!)
to prevent it sticking again it is advisable to run your heating for a couple of mins each week (even in the summer) just to keep the valve free

Hi,
I have had simililar problems with my own same boiler several times. Usually it has been electrical parts but not always. To be honest you should phone worster bosch it will cost you £250 but they will replace up to 6 major parts. They have come out to me about 4 times but in each case they have fitted more than that amount in parts every time. If your paying a plumber who is second guessing at £40 ph it would be the cheapest option in the long run and it will be fixed

A plumber will charge that amount which sounds like a standard amount. When the boiler is put in the manufacturer states that systems need flushing out to remove sludge otherwise it will knacker the heat exchanger. Power pump flush outs with a machine cost anywhere between £345-£500 depending on how many rads are in the property! If worcester have replaced parts your lucky and the other problem you've got is that the boiler is a worcester, even their own engineers will tell you they're cr*p boilers!!!

does not make sense unless the plumbing is wrong what i would suggest is you close off nearest rad and see if next rad gets warm if not it could be ch thermisitor on boiler let me know how you get on hallrichard69@yahoo.com
