Triton T80si Leaks from the start/stop button?

Hi,
I have replaced the Start/Stop Button assembly on my shower. I have noticed a plastic sheet sitting on top of the Solenoid valve assembly (part 83300450) and it has water on it. Am I correct in guessing its there to stop any leaks from the Stabiliser valve. Since I've had a few nasty shocks from my start/stop switch before..could it be this that's causing it? If so how difficult is it to replace it?

The replacement part costs £30 from triton and is a push fit supposed to be an easy job - alot easier than changing a shower unit!

Good advise get a new one ..just think of the paperwork if it kills someone(and it may just do that)

Yes the stabiliser valve is leaking (Actually it's the pressure switch, part of the stabiliser valve). The plastic is there to try to protect the solenod valve from water. It can be cheaper to buy a new shower as these can be found at a reasonable price if you shop aroubd.
