How do I remove mildew from my Barbour coat?

I've stored my Barbour coat for a long time in what proved to be a rather damp cupboard. Stupid. Anyhow - how do I safely remove all the mildew from the coat without tampering with the wax?
Any suggestions welcome!

I have their barn jacket, it had an awful mildew odor after a summer in a damp basement, lots of sun, breeze and 4-5 sprayings of Fabreze (jacket being inside out) and re-hanging out the sun seems to have finally done the trick!

Did you have any luck? I have the same problem. Thanks!

I would soak a sponge in some water with some Milton added to it and try to wipe off the mildew. It should wipe off without having to scrub too hard, but you might want to re-wax just to be on the safe side (it's not hard to re-wax using Barbour's DIY kit)! Hope this helps.
