How can I repair my Remington RS6963 shaver?

My Remington RS6963 Intercept did a better job than my newer chinese model, but it's getting tired and I would like to replace the battery and lub the motor. Any suggestions how to get at the insides?

To dismantle the RD6963 do the following.

1) Remove cover and then blades (just pull off)
2) Ping off the switch, put a small screwdriver under it or something at the top and prise it away from the body.
3) remove the white plastic plug under the switch, it should just prise out but might be difficult to get out.
4) undo the two screws on the top metal plate under the blades.
5) Remove the top.
6) The inside unit should now just slide out (it not check you removed the white plastic bit under the switch!)

Reverse to refit, but take extra care that the white plug under the switch has a small lug lined up and slotted into the back of the switch. Also this plug needs to be lined up on the side of the metal arm that makes up the switch inside so this is by far the most difficult bit to get right!

If you are considering this to do things like replace the batteries note that you need to unsolder things to get them out. The motor on the other hand is push fitted.
