My canon ixus75 digital camera got wet when water leaked in my backpack and must have leaked into camera bag and touched camera as camera has not worked since that. It will not switch on. How do I fix this?
Is it still under warranty? If so call Canon on 00800 22666767 who will fix it for free, otherwise they will charge in the region of £60.00

You may have to replace it, we had the same problem, I took the unit apart, let everything dry but it didn't help. Ours was beyond repair! See if you are covered on your household insurance
