If you only have 1 red, 1 black and 1 Gr/Y then put red in L1, black in com and the gr/Y should attach to an earth contact on the actual box. This will leave L2 empty.
If you have 2 reds, 2 blacks and 2 gr/y then 1 red in L1 the other red in com and join the 2 blacks together using a joint block. the 2 gr/Y join together in the contact in the box. Again L2 is left empty.

You only use L2 if there is 2 switches operating 1 light.
