faulty diplomat dishwasher ?

Hi Foxy,
Thanks for your reply, my friend tried your suggestions and F4 error now ceased, brill!. She then started getting an f2 error, but that seems to have stopped. But now machine fills in the bottom, then a clicking sound starts and it doesn't do anything else, if you open the door the machine empties? Do you have any other advice, thank you

Hi Tracy, water should not go into the base tray where the motor is so there is a leak somewhere. The clicking is the pcb being affected by the water in the base.Look at the hose where the motor joins the sump assy at the top and see if there are any drips present. If so, you will need a new motor and that is expensive. It is really an engineer visit so it will be approx £250 with labour, vat and parts.I expect you were getting varying error codes as the water affected certain parts.Hope all goes well, all the best.
