When i start my laptop it comes up with

if your computer stopped respondimg,restarted unexpectally or automatically shut down to protect your files and folders choose last known good configuration to revert to the most recent settting that worked.
if a previous start up attempt was interupted due to a power failure or because the power or restet button was pressed.or if you werent sure of what caused the problem choose start windows normally

safe mode
safe mode with networking
last known good configuration
start windows normally..

i have tryed all of these but it keeps coming up with the same screen please help me i just got my laptop fixed about 2months ago

on boot up press the bios setup key, f10 in compaqs case, there should be a section for optimum settings, set as minimum settings and reboot then goto boot up and press f5 or f8 to force into safe mode, try safe mode with command prompt , and run chkdsk, just type it in press enter, then once thats completed reboot the unit again and try the f5 f8 and boot into safe mode windows, see if that will boot if that goes in, then restart the system again, that should have reset the whole registry startup
