how do I take my mixer tap apart to replace a washer ?

My mixer tap in the kitchen is dripping profusely, I dont know how to dismantle it to replace the washer which I assume is the problem. Once I knock the main supply off, I need to know what I'm doing or I will be without water in the whole house until it's fixed

Where can I order a part for my mixer tap@

first make sure you have the correct washers or ceramic discs for the mixer it depends what type it is. on some the tap heads pull off some are screwed on. while you've got the water off fix some isolators on the hot and cold pipes
